Reservations and Waitlist:
Reserving a spot on our reservation list or being added to our waitlist is FREE. If there is a breeding that
you would like to make a reservation on, please contact R&R Sugar Loaf Farm and we will add you to the reservation list. If you’re not interested in a specific breeding and would like to purchase a kid from us, please contact us to be added to our waitlist. Once the kidding has occurred, the kid(s) will be evaluated within 48 hours and at that time individuals on the reservation list will be contacted first and then we will contact those on the waitlist. Once you have been contacted, you will have 24 hours to decide if you would like to purchase or pass. If you do not respond within the 24-hour period, we will move on to the next person in line. If no one on the waitlist has chosen to purchase, the kid(s) will then be posted for sale to the public. R&R Sugar Loaf Farm will not take any money on a reservation until the goat kid has been born and evaluated (unless arrangements have been made with the buyer prior to the birth). R&R Sugar Loaf Farm reserves the right to retain any kid(s) from any breeding at any time prior to its
sale. Our base price for a registered kid is $400. Final pricing will be determined once a kid has been evaluated. Sires and Dams will have been evaluated as to structure, udder qualities, milk production,
and disposition. These factors will determine our final pricing. *Note- if you want any kids that have horns, we are welcome to accommodate this feature. Although, we require that you contact us prior to the start of the current year's kidding season. We also require payment in full for these kid(s) to be reserved, payment is non-refundable.
Beginning in 2024 for a buckling or buck to be sold as registered all expenses associated with DNA
testing will be the buyer’s responsibility. Otherwise bucklings will be sold as unregistered or as wethers.
DNA testing will not be done on any of R&R Sugar Loaf Farm’s AGS kids at this time. The base
price for an unregistered kid is $150. Again, final pricing will be determined once kids have been evaluated.
We accept PayPal or Cash only.
R&R Sugar Loaf Farm reserves the right to modify pricing on all kids once they are born.
Kids can be priced higher or lower as we deem appropriate.
When purchasing a kid please remember that leaving for a new farm is a stressful event. In the event of
stress, a kid can get diarrhea, sniffles, and/or a cough. Their fragile systems need therapeutic support to get
through this period. Most kids from R&R Sugar Loaf Farm handle the transition to their new farm
without any issues, but occasionally one can get sick. We ask that you keep supportive products on hand
to handle any issues that may arise with your new kid. We do everything possible on our end to ensure
that kids have a smooth and successful transition. Our herd and their health is extremely important to
us. We are here to help and welcome your calls if you need us!
