Terms of Sale:
Please read and agree with ALL sale terms before making a payment. Sending a payment means you have agreed to our terms, and understand that all payments are non-refundable.
R&R Sugar Loaf Farm is a member of ADGA and AGS. Our entire dairy herd is registered with ADGA and some of our goats are dual registered with AGS. In 2024 we will be working to dual register our entire dairy herd with AGS. Once this has been completed, AGS registration(s) will be offered to all buyers, as well as ADGA registration(s).
R&R Sugar Loaf Farm reserves the right to name any, and all goat(s) born on our farm. This includes kids that will be the result of any future breeding. Registered goat(s) will come with their ADGA or AGS Certificate of Registry, and can be transferred online at time of sale to the buyer (association permitted). If an online transfer is requested all fees associated with the transfer will be the buyer's responsibility. Online transfers will not be completed until the goat(s) has been paid for in full and is in the buyer's possession. It will be the buyer's responsibility to mail the signed and completed ADGA or AGS Certificate of Registry back to the appropriate association. At the time of sale, if R&R Sugar Loaf Farm does not have the original ADGA or AGS Certificate of Registry, the buyer will be provided with a copy of the Stamped Duplicate or equivalent. Once the original Certificate of Registry has been received by R&R Sugar Loaf Farm, the buyer will be notified and at that time the goat(s) can be transferred online (association permitted) and the original Certificate of Registry will be completed, signed, and returned to the appropriate association by R&R Sugar Loaf Farm.
To reserve any goat(s) a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 1/2 of the purchase price is required within 48
hours of stating that you want to purchase the available goat(s). A goat will not be held and will not be
considered reserved until the deposit has been received by R&R Sugar Loaf Farm. Deposits can be made
via Cash or PayPal using the Friends and Family option only. Please contact us prior to sending a deposit.
NO GOATS WILL BE HELD WITH OUT A DEPOSIT. If the buyer is paying via PayPal and chooses not to use
the Friends and Family option, all fees associated with the transaction will be the buyer’s responsibility. We no longer will be accepting checks as forms of payment.
If the buyer is unable to follow thru with the purchase of the goat(s), any deposit(s) or payment(s) made can be transferred to reserving another available goat(s) or toward a reservation on a future breeding that will take place within twelve months of the date the purchase is postponed. Deposit(s) and Payment(s) made will not be refunded in the event a sale is forfeited by the buyer.
Should the goat(s) become ill, injured, or pass while on our premises, any deposit(s) or payment(s) made can be transferred to reserving another available goat(s) or toward a reservation on a future breeding. Deposit(s) and Payment(s) will not be refunded in the event of illness, injury, or death of the goat(s).
Goats must be paid for in full before leaving our possession. Final payment can be made in cash at the time of in-person pickup - no checks. All payments through PayPal must clear before you pick up your goat(s).
If the goat(s) is being delivered to the buyer via transport, then payment is due in full before the goat(s) leaves our farm.
BY PLACING A DEPOSIT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SALE:
All goats will be picked up on the premises of R&R Sugar Loaf Farm unless other arrangements have
been approved.**We do offer transport that is based on distance. Please know to expect anywhere from $100 - $400 per animal for transport, regardless of who or what transport service is used.*
Goats must be paid for in full before leaving our possession. Final payment can be made in cash at the time of pickup - no checks. All payments through PayPal must clear before you pick up your goat(s).
Goat(s) must be picked up by the agreed upon date. Failure to pick up by the agreed upon date will result in daily boarding fees, of $5 per day. Bottle babies will typically be ready for pick up when they are 2-3 weeks old. Dam raised kids will be weaned and ready to leave no earlier than 8 - 10 weeks old. We typically wean near 12-weeks of age.
R&R Sugar Loaf Farm reserves the right to cancel any sale at any point in time. In the event of R&R Sugar Loaf Farm canceling a sale any deposit(s) or payment(s) made will not be refunded.
The pricing of an animal will differ depending on quality or traits. Our kid pricing ranges from $400 - $600 for registered stock, and $150 - $400 non-registered stock.
