Kidding Schedule
Note- Any pairings that have a * next to them could have any of the following going on. 1) a different breed date then listed, 2) another buck that would result in a dna collection on kids, or 3) we do not believe the doe took the breeding and won't know until after their due date passes.
Thank you for your interest in R&R Sugar Loaf Farm. We have worked very hard to produce some extremely versatile kids, and we hope that shows. Here at R&R Sugar Loaf Farm we don’t focus on one particular attribute, we strive for many.

Once kids are born, we require a 50% deposit to hold your animal. R&R Sugar Loaf Farm has first pick on all breedings. Kids are to be picked up at 10-12 weeks, unless other arrangements have been made with us, and they will go home vaccinated, wormed and with coccidia preventions. Bucklings sold as wethers will be banded at 8-10 weeks.
*Kids on the bottle will be evaluated and can leave starting at 2wks of age, and not before. These kids will not go vaccinated, have coccidiosis prevention, or be banded all due to their age. The vaccinations, coccidiosis prevention, and castration will be the buyer's full responsibility.
We guarantee our animals to be healthy when leaving our farm. Because we cannot control environmental influences and/or conditions once said animal leaves our property, we cannot offer further guarantees.
Any kid here one week after weaning, or on the bottle that has missed their pick up date, will incur a $5/day boarding charge, unless prior arrangements made prior to deposit being made. Transportation must be arranged by the buyer.
Prices subject to change at any given time unless deposit is paid. If you do not already own goats, we will not sell a single goat and require that
you buy at least two. Goats are herd animals. They generally do not do well alone.
We reserve the right to turn down ANY sale.
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you do decide to take another animal instead of the one you originally reserved, it can be transferred to another animal of choice on our sales page. Either way, the deposit is not refundable.
No guarantee of the animal's continued success of any kind can be given, whether that is in the show ring, linear appraisal, or milk production.
Even though we cannot guarantee the animal's future success or health, we want to assist you in any way possible in making your goat-owning experience enjoyable and worthwhile. We not only encourage, but we EMBRACE questions from our buyers even years after they have purchased the goat. When you purchase a goat from us, you will receive lifelong breeder support. Whatever questions you may have about your new goat, REACH OUT! We will likely have the answers and if not, we'll find someone who does.
When we started breeding goats, we had no mentor. Because of that, we had to learn some things the hard way. We want to serve as your mentor so that you can have the best possible goat-owning experience.
Once our kidding schedule is published, you can contact us and request to reserve a preborn animal out of any specific breeding you like. You can reserve as many animals as you want from as many breedings you want. We do not keep a long multi-year waiting list. If you did not get the kid you wanted after kidding season is done, your reservation will not carry over to the next year. You will have to reach out again and express interest in still being on the list for the following year.
We offer fine quality Nigerian Dwarf does, bucks, kids, and wethers. On occasion Alpines or Recorded Grades. Most will come with papers.
**Horns- ALL our dairy goats will be disbudded at the appropriate age(usually within a week after birth, sometimes a few days). If you want to purchase a dairy goat from us that you do not want disbudded, you must contact us prior to kidding season or prior to that kid being born out of a specific breeding. We require payment in full of the goat kid at that time as the deposit. Those transactions are non-refundable and non-transferable. We have no issues working with goat owners who want to have horns on their goats.
By purchasing an animal from us, you agree that you have read, understand, and will adhere to the
